Expanding the versatility of the widely trusted SLX family, the Shimano SLX DC incorporates Shimano’s I-DC4 Digital Braking System to automatically optimize spool speed and reduce backlash for controlled, repeatable casting performance. The compact HAGANE Body provides rigidity and durability under load, while the Super Free Spool and precision S3D spool reduce friction and vibration for smooth, efficient casts. Offered in three gear ratios—6.3:1, 7.2:1 (HG), and 8.2:1 (XG)—and both right- and left-hand configurations, SLX DC reels put advanced casting technology within reach for a wide range of bass techniques and anglers.
